Team or Individual


Nominations will be accepted from individuals who have graduated from one of the current or legacy IDB education programs listed below, AND from teams with at least one member who is a graduate of one of the current or legacy IDB education programs listed below.

Current and Legacy programs that qualify include:

  • LOGTECH Advanced Program in Logistics and Technology
  • LOGTECH Program for Executives in Logistics and Technology
  • Depot and Arsenal Executive Leadership Program (DAELP)
  • Life Cycle Executive Leadership Program (LCELP)
  • Log21: Logistics for the 21st Century
  • MedLog21: Supply Chain Skills for Medical Logistics in the 21st Century
  • UNC-IDB Strategic Studies Fellows Program (UNC-IDB SSFP)
  • Seminar on Logistics Cooperation for Stabilization & Reconstruction (LCSR)
  • The CSER Course on Cooperation in Stability Operations (CSER-CSO)

Award Criteria:

Applicants for the award will have implemented projects that resulted in a measurable return on investment for their organization by using applied concepts found in IDB program curriculum.  The return can be in improved

  • efficiency (e.g., cost reduction, improved responsiveness), or
  • effectiveness (e.g., increased readiness, improved procedures). 

Additional weight will be given to innovative projects and/or approaches that lend themselves to broad dissemination. 


The award will be presented at an awards dinner held in September in the presence of invited members of the LOGTECH SME Board, IDB Executive Fellows, and other distinguished guests.  The IDB Alum and all members of the team who achieved the measurable return on investment are invited to attend.
