Curriculum Schedule

Below is a typical plan of study for the program. There are three domestic residencies and one study tour abroad. The residencies usually take place during the following timeframes:

  • Residency 1 - One week, late August preceding the start of online coursework for the Fall quarter, which begins in early September
  • Residency 2 - One week, early June
  • Residency 3 Abroad in Europe or Asia (alternating years) - Early November - 10 days after the core curriculum has been completed. Click here to see a sample schedule.
  • Residency 4 and Graduation in Washington, DC - Early Fall, at the completion of online coursework.
