Mr. Van Noah

Mr. Van W. Noah, P.E. joined the Institute for Defense and Business (IDB) as a Program Director in the fall of 2005. He graduated from the LOGTECH MBA Program (now known as the IU-UNC LogMBA Program) as a private sector participant in 2004 and now manages that program and the LOGTECH Advanced Course for the Institute of Defense and Business.
Mr. Noah came to the IDB from an engineering career with the Michael Baker Corporation building the FedEx Mid-Atlantic hub in Greensboro and prior to that building the North Carolina Global TransPark with the State of North Carolina. He has also consulted on environmental and engineering projects in the private sector and with the US Army. He served on active duty with the US Army in the Republic of Korea starting as a Platoon Leader and working his way up to Battalion S4 before being selected to command a company in the 44th Engineer Battalion (Combat Heavy). After the Engineer Officer Advanced Course he reported to the 307th Engineer Battalion (Airborne) in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg North Carolina where he served in various staff positions including Assistant Division Engineer before obtaining his second company command. Following Command and Service Staff School at Fort Leavenworth Mr. Noah serviced at the Brigade Engineer for the 501st Military Intelligence Brigade in Seoul Korea. He left the military for a Civilian career in 1992 as a Major.
Mr. Noah has a BS in Civil Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University with LOGTECH MBA Certificate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School. He is also a registered Professional Engineer.
Mrs. Zebrina Leung Warner
Program Manager, IU-UNC LogMBA Program

Mrs. Warner has been with the IDB for over seven years. As a Program Manager, she manages the overall IU-UNC LogMBA Program, which includes three active cohorts totaling around 60 students each year. In this position, she is responsible for assisting in curriculum development; scheduling faculty for the residencies; registering and maintaining student enrollment and grades; managing advisors and student projects; scheduling and contracting with facilities; coordinating meetings, site visits, and all logistics for students and program administrators for the 10-day overseas study tour; maintaining budget process; and managing a program assistant. She also oversees and guides several marketing efforts. In addition, Mrs. Warner oversees the IDB Executive Fellows Program, which consists of four retired senior ranked military and civilian logisticians.
Mrs. Warner completed her LOGTECH MBA (now known as the IU-UNC LogMBA) from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007 and a MS in Strategic Management from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 2010. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2000 with BA from the School of Journalism.
Ms. Jodi D’Agostino
Program Associate, IU-UNC LogMBA Program

Ms. D'Agostino began working at the Institute for Defense and Business (IDB) in May of 2009 as a Program Associate for the Center of Excellence in Logistics and Technology (LOGTECH). In this position she helps plan, facilitate, and deliver three executive education programs for the military and private sector in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Ms. D'Agostino is extensively involved in all the program offerings and operations for the LOGTECH Advanced and IU-UNC LogMBA programs. Her responsibilities include core administrative duties such as coordinating class participants’ travel and pre-program arrangements in collaboration with a military contractor and a facility program manager; internal and external program web site updates and maintenance; obtaining, organizing and distributing course materials; acts as primary liaison between program office and contractor’s office; attends program functions and classes as a program representative; plans, coordinates and executes special functions and meetings outside of the programs; provides research and analysis of special projects; and manages program materials and supplies.
Ms. D'Agostino graduated from N.C. State University with a B.S. in Biology.
Dr. Richard Magjuka
Associate Professor of Business Administration

Dr. Richard Magjuka is an Associate Professor of Business Administration at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He has served as the Chairperson of the Kelley Direct Online MBA Program as well as the Director of Distant Education since 1999. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Liberal Studies from the University of Norte Dame. Dr. Magjuka has received several teaching awards such as the GM Teaching Excellence Award, the FACET Award for Teaching Excellence (All-University Award), two Teaching Excellence Research Awards (TERA), and the MBA Excellence in Teaching Award (Indianapolis).
Dr. Magjuka is the author of several articles which have appeared in journals such as the Journal of Private Enterprise, Journal of Research and Theory in School Management, Human Resource Development Quarterly, Labor Studies Journal, Training and Development Journal, Journal of Managerial Issues, Mid-American Journal of Business, Personnel Psychology, and National Productivity Review, among others.
Dr. D. Clay Whybark

Macon D. Patton Distinguished Professor of Operations, Technology and Innovation Management, Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Dr. Whybark’s areas of expertise include international manufacturing practices, planning and control systems, and strategy. His industrial experience was with the Boeing Company and Douglas Aircraft. He has consulted with corporate and governmental organizations in many parts of the world. He received his Ph.D from Stanford University, his MBA from Cornell University and his B.S. in aeronautical engineering from the University of Washington.
