General Edward M. Daly

General (Retired) Edward M. Daly is a transformational leader leader specializing in evolutionary and revolutionary change within complex organizations. Excelling in strategic vision translation and talent development, he optimizes organizational performance using disruptive technologies, unique approaches, and data analytics.
With expertise in both military and corporate sectors, General Daly is a recognized authority in domestic and global supply chains, manufacturing, and logistics. As founder of Daly Consulting & Logistics, LLC, he contributes to boards across aerospace, energy, manufacturing, logistics services, software, and health and welfare industries.
He retired from the U.S. Army in 2023 after 36 years of service. In his last assignment, he served as the 20th Commanding General of the U.S. Army Materiel Command, leading 190,000 military and civilian personnel. His role encompassed logistics, installation support, and sustainment readiness, impacting U.S. defense and international operations. He played a pivotal role in global logistics, foreign military sales, and materiel support, including Ukraine aid and the Army’s infrastructure modernization.
Throughout his career, he served in various Army units worldwide, with combat tours in Operations DESERT SHIELD/STORM, IRAQI FREEDOM, and ENDURING FREEDOM. His accolades include the Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit, and Bronze Star. A member of multiple Halls of Fame, he continues shaping defense and business sectors.
